About Us

I'm Travis, a mechanical engineer, designer, and maker based in Bath, UK. I run MAKING IT Layer3D, with my partner, Alana, where we bring together precision engineering and creative fabrication to turn ideas into real, tangible products.

With a background in engineering consultancy and hands-on experience across CAD design, rendering, FDM & resin 3D printing, laser cutting, packaging design, and light electronics, I specialise in developing everything from functional prototypes to finished pieces ready for market or display.

Whether you're starting with a napkin sketch or a full CAD file, I can help you shape, refine, and fabricate your idea with precision and style. My work is built on clear communication, detail-focused craftsmanship, and a genuine love for problem solving and making cool stuff.
